As a social business the E=MC2 Company, we believe that a Sustainability Investment Nework will be of a great benefit to society. Our Green Stock Exchange will be a great way to raise sustainable funds, while providing liquidity for investors.

The Investment network you propose will be based on a double bottom line (economics + sustainability) or a triple (economics + sustainability + social) bottom line.

Example, what if a company uses child labour to produce solar panels? It will still be sustainable, but probably not acceptable to society’s values.

It requires a lot of care-ful accounting to get out of debt with extra loans. Or where do you suggest your clients get their money from to pay you back plus the interest you charge? Are you helping your customers to find employment? Do you only charge simple or compound interest?

We advocate GOVERNMENTS to issue ‘green credit’ - whether to employers or to run governmental programs that employ people.
